Initial Client Problem

Our client discovered that their turbine lubrication system was heavily contaminated by solid particles, reached a contamination level of NAS 12 or ISO Class 23/21/18. The capacity of the turbine lubricant is 20.000 liters. They urgently needed to restore the system using oil care equipment. The client approached us seeking a solution with comprehensive after-sales support and a guarantee of filter element availability.

Our Solution

We addressed this challenge by deploying a Mobile Filtration Unit (MFU). This MFU has two-step filtration processes (2-pass-filtration) within a single filtration cycle. The first filtration step utilizes a 6-micron filter, followed by a 3-micron (or 2-micron) filter in the second step. The objective of this filtration process is to swiftly reduce the contamination level from NAS 12 or ISO 4406:199 Class 23/21/18 to NAS 5 or ISO 4406:199 Class 16/14/11.
