Power Plants and Energy

Initial Client Problem

Our client, a power plant in Central Java with a power capacity of 660 MW. The Wheel, Pulley Slings, and Stabilizer Lubrication Systems on our client’s Ship Unloader were not functioning optimally. The lubrication could not even lubricate bearings, pulleys, and wire ropes because the greasing pump was damaged. Lubrication was also done manually, so when the weather was rainy and windy strongly, the lubrication could not be done. This created potential damage to the bearing pulley and wire rope components. The limitation of condition and reaching capability of the maintenance team caused them to replace the lubrication system from the manual system to the auto lubrication system.

Our Solution

We provided a solution which was the Modular Progressive Lube System for Wheel, Pulley Slings, and Stabilizers. This auto grease system provided greasing at 12 greasing points. The Automatic Greasing Pump was also provided with a closed cabinet protector so that it would not easily be damaged by the weather. This system solved the limitations of the maintenance team.
