Initial Client Problem

Our client, a cement company in Padang, West Sumatra. The client had built a new plant, a complete production line from the raw mill, coal mill, grate cooler to the finish mill. The raw mill at this plant had a capacity of up to 1000 tph, and a kiln with a capacity of up to 9000 tph. Before installing a hydraulic system and lubrication, it was ensured that the tubes and pipes were clean because they played an important role in the system’s reliability. Flushing service was required to clean tubes and pipes at the mills upon request from the manufacturer. Additionally, the goal was to ensure that every system in the mill had a protected guarantee.

Our Solution

We provided hydraulic and lubrication tube system flushing service solutions to our clients. The oil used was Mineral Oil. We designed and used a Flushing - Hot Oil Flushing unit that can handle ½ to 12-inch tube sizes. Additionally, the flow rate reaches 250 L/minute. Monitoring of flushing results for the level of oil cleanliness can be conducted online. We performed this work for 10 weeks with a team of 15 people. The number of tubing and pipes that we serviced reached 2000 rods.
