Cement Plants

Initial Client Problem

Our client is a cement manufacturer in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. They have a chain and tension system for STRE on their raw mill 4 equipped with a manual lubrication system. They plan to upgrade the system using a Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU). They requested a new tensioning power pack design to support the existing cylinder actuator with a maximum tension capacity of 350 kN. In addition, we were asked to design a power pack that could fit in a very limited space.

Our Solution

We performed hydraulic design and calculations to ensure our system met our client's needs. We applied a critical engineering approach to address the space constraints for this HPU. Then, we provided a Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) with high-quality components from Bosch Rexroth to increase the durability of the HPU. In addition, we provided a complete service from assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning. Our HPU has a capacity of 6 L/min with a pressure of 100 bar, capable of operating continuously for 24 hours using ISO VG 68 with a power of 3kW.
