Initial Client Problem

Our client, a heavy equipment company in Surabaya, tasked us with building a hydraulic power unit (HPU) for their clamp shell machine. They required a redesign of the existing system to deliver high flow rates and ensure the quality and durability of the hydraulic system. To achieve this, they specified the use of Rexroth components and requested a 2-month turnaround time.

Our Solution

Our solution involved reconstructing the hydraulic system and components, designing a new cylinder and manifold block, and constructing an HPU with a capacity of 126 Lpm and 160 bar pressure to support the clamp shell machine. This HPU operates continuously for 24 hours using 55 kW of power and NAS 7 quality of ISO VG 68 oil. Additionally, we assisted with frame construction simulation, assembling, testing, installing, and commissioning to ensure optimal system performance.
