Initial Client Problem

Our client recently acquired an old facility, established in 1985, at KBN Marunda, North Jakarta. After a year of acquisition, they discovered that the water treatment system was malfunctioning. We propose a solution to normalize the wastewater treatment plant and improve the quality of the discharged water. Currently, the effluent from the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is being reused for the demineralization feed system and serves as freshwater for some of the heat exchanger water inlets.

Our Solution

The scope of work for this project includes the following improvements: enhance the aeration process by modifying the existing blower line, boost blower capacity, upgrade the aeration tank with new bubble diffusers that can be adjusted and lifted for maintenance; optimize the functionality of the DAF system, equalization tank, and clarifier; implement a water reuse system that minimizes reliance on external freshwater sources by producing high-quality treated wastewater.
