Palm Oil

Initial Client Problem

Our client is a palm oil company in Central Kalimantan. The type of oil used for their transformer was Mineral Oil Shell Diala B. The transformer oil needed to be purified due to the high water content of rH 25% and the number of contaminant particles was high with a cleanliness level of ISO 22/20/18 (minimum standard is ISO 18/16/13). Our client targeted the water content in the oil to be 10 ppm and the gas content <0.1%.

Our Solution

Tekno Fluida Indonesia made a Dewatering System DS-20 functioning as Oil Purifier Mobile Unit with a Nominal Flow Rate of 20 L / min. The oil used was Insulating Oil for transformer with 3 micron filter and a water sensor. The post-treatment water content was rH 15% and the cleanliness was ISO 18/16/13.
